York County Head Start - Biddeford 1 & 2

At Head Start, your child will receive a variety of learning experiences to foster intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Head Start children play together in a safe and nurturing environment, and participate in early educational activities. Your child will be provided a healthy meal each day, and will be involved in a comprehensive health program, which includes immunizations, medical, dental and mental health services, and nutritional services. We will encourage you, the parent, to help out in your childs classroom and to stay involved with your childs Head Start experience by sharing ideas and preparing materials for classroom and home activities, participating in the Parent Committee and Head Start Policy Council, and attending field trips.;York County Head Start is here to help you and your child make the most of the early years of your childs lifeand to get a Head Start on all the years to come.
