Through the Holy Spirit, we know God is with us, helping us live as faithful disciples. During May in Faith Village child will explore the following concepts;— hear the story of the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost;— identify how the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples;— understand that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit;— define the Holy Spirit as “God with us now”;— learn that the Holy Spirit can be present in our lives too;— explore the meaning of “believe”;— understand why we celebrate Pentecost as the birthday of the church.
