United Methodist Preschool

Located in the United Methodist Church of Fort Morgan, the preschool is open to any child in the community regardless of race or church preference.
The preschool is licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and follows the rules and regulations specified by that agency.
The preschool operates on a 9 month school schedule from September to May with Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Breaks. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled each year in February.
Children are enfolded in a warm atmosphere of acceptance and valued for their uniqueness. Each new child is visited by the teacher so they can become acquainted with each other before coming to the first day of class. Prior to the beginning of school, parents are encouraged to attend a meeting to become familiar with the policies and procedures of the school as well as visit with the staff about expectations and philosophies. Parents are also encouraged to work in the classroom several times per year.
The daily schedule at the preschool incorporates individual, one on one, large group and small group learning opportunities. Our theme-based program stimulates a childs natural curiosity and offers activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.
