My children had differing levels of previous French language education. Thalia assessed their levels and decided on what areas to focus and which educational materials to use for their lessons. She has some of her own materials and she has made use of some of my children's previous classroom materials. She has been kind and patient with the children. Initially Thalia spoke to the children in English but has gradually switched to predominately French. Similarly, she has increased her expectation for their spoken French. Thalia gives the children a little homework to keep them working in French between lessons. My children really enjoy and look forward to their time with her. After each lesson, Thalia provides me with an understanding of what material the children have covered. Thalia is always punctual, professional, and respectful. If an occasion arrives that requires a schedule change, she communicates promptly. She is also flexible to any change that we might need to make.
