After years of working as a locksmith I began, in 2005, teaching in several school districts, working as a substitute teacher. In evening classes at Emmanuel College I earned a Masters in Teaching, graduating in 2005. To better prepare myself for teaching I enrolled at UMass Boston and received a MA in History in 2011.
