I received my B.S. in English Literature from University College at Northeastern University; I earned it over the course of ten years in their part-time classes for adult students. I received a Pell Grant and Financial Aid but I also took out student loans and worked full time to support myself. Although it was difficult at times to balance work and school, I loved my classes and began to formulate thoughts on the connections between the Arts and Sciences with our daily lives.
