ESL & English Elementary through Adults, Grade school science

I have been teaching ESL at Northern Essex community college for 12 years. Prior to that I taught ESL, Language Arts, and science to middle school children. I’ve also taught ESL in adult education. In addition to my teaching career, I worked in human services with emotionally disturbed adults.

I feel I bring a very diverse pool of knowledge to teaching. While I was in human services, I was trained as a milieu therapist. I’ve found that my training transferred to my role as an educator….
