Born and raised in France, I came to the US when I was 19. After serving in the US Army I obtained US citizenship. Later I was able to use the GI Bill to get a degree in French and achieved a teaching credential. Although teaching was not to be my long term career, the education and experiences have served me well. Currently I teach French and French culture to adult learners.
