Integration of Faith and Learning The TCA Athletic Department is committed to integrating faith and learning as part of the overall student experience. Student-athletes, coaches, and staff desire to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and share that relationship with others through competition, sports camps, clinics, mission trips, service projects, and other venues. Interscholastic athletics provides a stage from which the truths of Christianity can be taught to student-athletes through the discipling relationship between coaches and players and a platform from which Jesus Christ can be shared with the world.

Student-Athlete Welfare – In addition to the priority given to the spiritual welfare of TCA student-athletes, their mental, physical, emotional, and social welfare is also of the utmost importance. At the heart of this concern is a strong focus on their academic success, which is complemented through the challenges of competition with the opportunity to develop character traits associated with discipline, ethical conduct, endurance, courage, leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, and faith. The TCA Athletic Department strongly supports the TSSAA philosophy and objectives and commits to following all policies and rules. Trinitys Athletic Department places a concentrated emphasis on supplying quality opportunities for both its male and female athletes and strives to provide unique opportunities to experience diversity, share Jesus Christ, and further develop the student-athletes personal worldview.

Excellence – TCA athletics stresses equitable opportunity and excellence at all levels. This mindset is an integral aspect of the mission of the school and the athletic department strives to do the same in every area. The goal is that the desire for excellence is evident in hiring and policies, in the actions of the departments personnel (including student-athletes, staff, fans, etc.), in the competitive level of the student-athletes and teams in the department, in the quality of the facilities and equipment, and in all other areas of the program.

Reputation TCA Athletics presents a window through which the outside world sees Trinity Christian Academy. This externally focused, brand-enhancing view is a crucial element in the recruitment of students and the marketing and promotion of the school. Current prospective students, parents, and the general public often do not separate the overall reputation of a school from its athletic program. As such, the testimony and reputation of an institutions athletic program, its level of competition and athletic achievement, the other institutions against which it competes, and the quality of its athletic facilities have become major contributors to a schools overall image.
