Our high-quality curriculum is structured around the children’s abilities and readiness to learn and focus on the areas of gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive milestones. The Kid Co. offers a unique curriculum in a positive learning environment. Each child’s educational program is tailored to the child’s abilities and incorporates the parent’s goals. Every child will receive their own curriculum folder, so their teacher can track their personal developmental progress. Another technique the center will be using, is focusing on teaching our lesson plans using the seven multiple intelligences founded by Howard Gardner. While a teacher is focusing on an apples theme for the week, it will be the responsibility of the teacher to teach the topic of apples using 7 different methods:
Linguistic intelligence (“word smart”)
Logical-mathematical intelligence (“number/reasoning smart”)
Spatial intelligence (“picture smart”)
Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence (“body smart”)
Musical intelligence (“music smart”)
