Welcome to The Goddard School located in Marietta. We are Tom and Liz Barone, Owners of the School. Our School is located at 3147 Trickum Rd. NE, behind the CVS Pharmacy on Sandy Plains Road.
The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your childs life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30, p.m., Monday through Friday. Our programs offer your family the choice of either a half or full-day schedule, each designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to five years of age. We also provide after-school enrichment and a summer camp program for children up to ten years of age.
As we too have children that attend The Goddard School, we recognize the importance of knowing the specifics of your childs day. Everything that takes place is specifically communicated to you via personalized Daily Activity Reports. The Daily Activity Reports allows you to understand the activities your child participates in so that you can discuss the day with your child. The reports reflect everything from what the children ate for lunch to what goal they strived for or accomplished for the day. All children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities to help them develop a feeling of independence and confidence.
Our degreed teachers and staff create a loving, nurturing atmosphere while incorporating fun and exciting learning experiences with lesson plans designed to meet the needs of the whole child. A typical day includes academics, music, language activities, creative art and supervised play.
Our School has been designed to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Our classrooms are spacious and bright, and we have two separate playgrounds that have been designed to challenge and delight children of any age.
