The Goddard School

Welcome to The Goddard School located in Alpharetta on Windward Parkway at Highway 9. This school truly offers a unique preschool for your child with a state-of-the-art facility. From the safety features to the gymnasium featuring a rock wall, you will be amazed at the environment our school provides your child. But most importantly, the tremendous faculty are what set us apart from other alternatives.

We are accredited by AdvancED and The National Association for the Education of Young Children, NAEYC. Our accreditation was granted under the more stringent guidelines recently implemented. In addition, we deliver the Goddard FLEX curriculum, accredited by AdvanceED.

NAEYC Accreditation represents the mark of quality in early childhood education. To achieve NAEYC Accreditation, early childhood education programs volunteer to be measured against the most robust and rigorous national standards on education, health and safety. As a NAEYC accredited program, we invest in early childhood education because we believe in the benefits to children and families. Early childhood experiencesfrom birth to age 8have an enormous impact on childrens lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development. Early childhood education programs, like ours, with the mark of quality benefit children with greater readiness for and success in school. We were one of the first schools in the state to achieve this mark of excellence under the new more rigorous accreditation standards.

The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child’s life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. We also offer an after-school enrichment and summer “camp” for children up to twelve years of age.

Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age. and we feature a Gymnasium for the children with a stage, rock climbing wall and special surfacing.
