Our mission is to enable, empower, and encourage each child to develop physically, socially, cognitively, and spiritually to his/her fullest potential in a nurturing, Jewish environment. Our first priority is to foster your child’s development in our stimulating, play based environment. We strive to build a community where each child knows s/he belongs, feels safe, and feels s/he makes an important contribution. Our emergent curriculum provides hands-on experiences with math concepts, science, language, music, art, cooking and information technology.

The philosophy of the Temple Preschool program is based on the belief that each child is unique and will develop at his/her own rate. Under the guidance of caring teachers, children may pursue individual interests as well as participate in group activities. The Temple Preschool philosophy and curriculum are based on the National Association of the Education of Young Childrens (NAEYC) guidelines of developmentally appropriate practices and the TN. Dept. of Human Services Star-quality program. (We are nationally accredited and have a three star rating from the state of Tennessee.)
