Head Start is a federally funded pre-school program which provides a supervised, structured learning environment for income eligible children ages 3-5. The focus of the program is to meet the education, health, nutrition, social and emotional needs of the children. Children with disabilities are encouraged to apply; we offer a full range of services for children with special needs. Children must turn three by September 1st to be eligible for the program.

Head Start has chosen Creative Curriculum for use in our classrooms. The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, child-development-based curriculum that allows teachers to create an effective learning environment for preschool children. The curriculum framework allows teachers to be creative, flexible and tailor teaching plans according to each childs interests and strengths.
