The quality of the staff is an important determinant in the quality of the program.
Saint Vincent Ferrer Church Child Care Center strives to maintain a high quality staff
by providing a variety of in-services and other professional opportunities.
At a minimum, state qualifications are met.
All staff members working with children are required to submit to a state police check
and have a physicians health form on file.
Fully qualified teachers meet or exceed state licensing requirements
in education and experience.

The Saint Vincent Child Care Center is unique in its approach to providing quality care for all children between the ages of 3 and 10. The centers philosophy flows from three basic beliefs which govern its programming:
1) Children should be allowed to be children. We expect a three-year old to be three, and a four year old to be four, without the pressure to prepare for the next age or developmental stage.
2) Children learn best from each other, and they need to explore safely and experiment with their environment.
3) Each child brings to the program his or her unique cultural background.
We strive to incorporate these characteristics into the childs daily program.
