First, children learn to be children of God. It is important for children to know Jesus loves them, is always with them and forgives them. A loving, respectful relationship between children, staff, and families is vital for success. When working with children, it is important to be a partner with and supportive of the whole family- not just the child. It is important to provide positive guidance in helping children make smart choices by learning through play, regarding feelings and behaviors so they can develop positive self-esteem and self-control. Open communication between families and staff is important to effectively partner with families. Children need a safe, clean, healthy environment in which to learn and grow; consistency and routine is important for childrens growth and development Academics are a vital part in the development of the whole child, including the following areas:
