South Fork Elementary is excited to welcome our preschool program.

This is a full-day program that meets from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with breakfast, lunch and snacks available to each student. All four-year-old children who are residents of the West Plains School District are welcome to attend this great program.

The program follows the Project Construct model curriculum which is recognized throughout the state of Missouri as being one of the best curriculums available for early childhood students. The preschool program is of no cost to parents due to the Missouri Preschool Project Grant.

Preschool is an outstanding way to help give all students the foundation they need to be successful throughout their educational experiences. The preschool class is being taught by our highly qualified and energetic teacher, Jackie Ingalsbe, assisted by Katy Holmes. Mrs. Ingalsbe and Mrs. Holmes have both been through extensive training to assure that the preschool students obtain all the knowledge they are developmentally ready for.

Our program is currently licensed to serve 15 students with a few openings still available. If you would like to see this high quality program in action you are welcome to visit us at anytime, or you may call South Fork Principal Seth Huddleston or Mrs. Ingalsbe at 256-2836 to learn more.
