Welcome to our site. We are proud to have the opportunity to care for the children in our community. Finding the right care for your child should give you a sense of comfort and confidence knowing that your child’s well-being and development is the top priority. The Sanctuary Child Learning Center opened in the fall of 2002. We offer care for children from six weeks to Pre-K, as well as, before and after school care for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Our curriculum has been adapted from “The Creative Curriculum” and the faith-based “Pinnacle Curriculum”. It operates on the belief that the child learns best by doing. It encourages children to learn and explore through use of their senses, such as, touching, tasting, smelling, listening, and looking.
We use materials such as blocks to help the children learn about size, shape, and color. After learning these basic concepts, we teach the children words and numbers, which are more abstract. The curriculum’s goal is to teach children how to learn, giving them a valuable tool for success in their later years as well. This curriculum encourages children to be independent, self-confident, and inquisitive individuals.
