Salem United Methodist Preschool Child Care

Organized in 1996, Salem Preschool and Child Care is a church related non-profit Christian organization operated as a ministry of Salem United Methodist Church. The purpose of this center is to provide a loving, Christian atmosphere where each childs spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth is nurtured and enriched.
Salem United Methodist Church Preschool Child Care (SUMCPCC) does not discriminate in its admissions or operating policies on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children, ages six weeks to five years old.
Within the schools daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, learn problem-solving and personal interaction skills and learn concepts through first-hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self/teacher-directed activities. Solitary, parallel and cooperative play as well as group activities is offered throughout each day. Classes participate in the library Read-to-Me program.
