We believe in providing a quality academic program for all students and a college preparatory program for those
whose goal is post-secondary study.
We believe there should be a sequential program of instruction.
We believe the teaching staff should meet or exceed state requirements to teach the subject areas, and should take
advantage of continuing educational opportunities.
We believe basic skills in Christian education, language arts, mathematics, science, technology, social studies, arts
and humanities should be emphasized.
We believe in educating the whole child: mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually as a way to
promote life-long learning.
We believe each child is a unique individual and we have a responsibility to help develop the full potential of every
student.
We believe every person should have an opportunity for a high quality education regardless of his/her economic or
social status, racial or ethnic group, or geographical location.
We believe since we do not have a Special Education Program, we have a responsibility to direct students to schools
that can meet any needs beyond what we can offer.
We believe in recognizing and meeting the different needs of each individual and individualized teaching and
tutoring should be provided.
We believe it is essential to be able to communicate within various settings and environments.
We believe good physical and emotional health are important contributing factors to a childs ability to learn.
We believe all youth should be taught to understand and appreciate their own unique cultural heritage and history.
We believe each student should be taught respect for others and for himself/herself.
We believe students and staff have a responsibility to preserve and maintain a Christian school environment.
We believe students and teachers should practice good citizenship.
We believe students, staff, and administration should take advantage of community services such as libraries,
bookmobiles, museums, parks, and career days.
We believe there should be an interrelationship between students, teachers, administration and community.
We believe church, staff, parents and students should share in the responsibility for decision-making as well as
funding.
