The Palo Verde Unified School District is located in Blythe, California. Blythe is somewhat geographically isolated being approximately 1 hours from the nearest metropolitan area. With being the only school district in the area, the student body is not only comprised of students from Blythe but students as far as 50 miles from town.
Feeding into our K-12 system is an early childhood school that provides a strong catalyst for students entering into our K-12 system. Our K-12 system is made up of three (3) elementary schools, one middle school, a comprehensive high school, a continuation high school, and a community day school.

The philosophy behind this program is that students dont have to fail before qualifying to receive additional help. Because motivation and perception of school has so much to do with student learning, by catching our students before they give up on school, they will persevere, have better self-esteem, and we will subsequently reduce drop-out rates (to name a few of the benefits).
