Since 1984, the Prior Lake Montessori School has helped children reach their full potential. Our mission is to provide excellence in education in a motivating environment.

At Prior Lake Montessori, our Pre-School and Kindergarten programs are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of children at each stage in their development. The school curriculum introduces children to the joy of learning at their own pace and provides a framework in which intellectual and social discipline go hand in hand.

We believe in a well-rounded program for your child. Children need opportunities to learn as well as to play games, be social, engage in make-believe, joke with friends, explore nature, sing, dance, draw, build, and just daydream.

As the first Montessori school in Prior Lake, we bring 27 years of academic experience.
