At Striar Hebrew Academy, our mission is to provide children with a positive learning experience
in a warm, modern Orthodox environment. Our integrated Judaic and General Studies program
is designed to foster intellectual growth and to cultivate a love of Torah and a love of Israel.
Striar Hebrew Academy emphasizes academic excellence together with moral sensitivity.

At Striar Hebrew Academy, play is valued as an important opportunity for children to construct an understanding of their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, creative and Judaic knowledge and skills. Our curriculum moves in time with the Jewish calendar; Rosh Chodesh (new month), chaggim (holidays) and the weekly parasha (Torah portion) offer a myriad of rich and meaningful topics to study. Integrating Torah values, tefillah (prayer), observance of mitzvot, and a love of Israel into our daily hands-on experiences provides the perfect means for our students to develop their whole selves. Our program is based on the spirit of Klal Yisrael (community)-where children, parents and staff feel a strong sense of partnership and belonging.
