Infant development is steady and exciting during the first years of life.

Your child’s days at The Children’s Cottage are filled with encouragement and exposure to fun and challenging activities.

The children are encouraged to reach milestones through interactive playart projects music and sensory exploration.

Each activity explores skills in any of the developmental areas and are adapted to the age of the children.

The Infant and Toddler area at The Children’s Cottage is unique. The environment allows for infants from six weeks up to and including toddlers. It is an intimate setting that provides the
stimulation and close contact that young children need and want. In this mixed age group
a family-like envirionment is created and nurtured. This also allows for a smaller number of children per caregiver. The children grow and learn without switching rooms which allows longer bonding with the staff member. This arrangement is a desireable one as parents feel the relaxed state of the room combined with a very accesible staff is ideal.
