Suffield Cooperative School

The Suffield Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit educational program that has welcomed and served families in Suffield since 1970. The cooperative nature of this program recognizes and maximizes the role of the parent in the education of the child. Our objective is to provide a safe, stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters a feeling of well being, along with a balanced program that stresses the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of the individual child. Parents and staff work together to ensure that your child’s first school experience is happy and positive. As parents, you are your child’s most influential teacher. Your involvement contributes to the positive learning attitudes of your child and helps to provide a basis for the transition from home to school.

The preschool is viewed as an extension of the home. Our Halloween Party, Dad’s Night, Holiday Parties, Family Night and Year-End Receptions are family-oriented special events held throughout the school year.
