The preschool serves as a ministry to the children and families of Hope United Methodist Church and the surrounding community. Our focus is to assist children and their families in developing a sense of trust warmth and appreciation of God’s love.
Christian nurturing is encouraged through weekly Chapel time daily praise Bible stories and traditional celebration of Christian holidays.
The curriculum offers a developmental play-oriented program providing experiences and materials appropriate to each child’s age. All of our activities are aimed at helping the child build large and small muscle skills develop abilities in group situations and have a readiness to investigate and take part in the world around them. Pre literary and math skills are addressed along with exposure to science art music and dramatic play. One field trip or special activity is planned monthly.
