The Hobbitts Preschool

The Hobbitts Preschool is located at 4340 West Streetsboro Rd. (State Route 303) in the educational wing of the Richfield United Church of Christ. Hobbitts has been providing quality preschool education to Richfield and the surrounding communities since opening in 1955. Ours is a nondenominational non-profit preschool. The primary purpose of our school is to provide a setting where children can come under the influence of a loving accepting forgiving community thus developing a strong self-concept.

Ours is a developmental program one in which children learn through their play and develop at their own pace. Our experienced and professionally trained staff help children to grow in every way: mentally physically socially and emotionally.

The Hobbitts’ curriculum has been developed to stimulate children’s curiosity about their world while teaching them good working and learning habits. We provide rich and varied opportunities for acquiring the basic knowledge that will prepare children for their upcoming elementary education.
Hobbitts Preschool is licensed by the State of Ohio. The school’s licensing record is available upon request from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
