Montessori philosophy is based on the belief in children’s creative potential their drive to learn and self-paced and internal discipline. Teachers are facilitators in the prepared environment so learning is encouraged not forced. As compared to a traditional education the Montessori Method utilizes individuality and the child’s own inherent readiness for progression. Abstract concepts are presented through concrete activities and aid in the mastery of didactic subjects. Our program is designed to help children develop socially physically and emotionally. Thus learning to be kind and courteous is as important as learning to read write or count. Montessori is not just an education it’s an aid to life.
