St. Marks Christian E.L.C. Early Learning Center

St. Mark’s Christian Early Learning Center is now fully certified by the State of Maryland. We are continuing to accept applications for the 2010-2011 academic year. A typical day for the students consists of a morning prayer, the pledge of allegiance, learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors, studying Gods word through both Old and New Testament Bible stories, singing Bible songs, and completing craft projects that relate to their lessons.

In addition to their routine studies, the children go on field trips and host various visitors. The children have also participated in many community-related service projects.

The Center is staffed by a certified teacher and assistant. The hours of operation are between 8:15 AM and 5:15 PM Monday through Friday. There are still a few openings at the Center for children from three to five years old, and children of all faiths are welcome. Because of increasing demand, priority is given to registering full-time (five day) students. Partial scholarships are available for those who qualify.
