In September 2005 after much anticipation Woodside Preschool: The Early Years Program of The Dwight School opened its doors to 90 preschoolers and their families. As we enter our fifth year our enrollment has grown to 190 children and our families represent more than 40 countries from around the world.
The Woodside program includes daily Spanish lessons and weekly music classes. Additionally we offer a Small Wonder program for children 1 – 21/2 years an exciting after school program for our 3 to 5 year olds and a June and July summer program. In addition to having advanced degrees in early childhood education our teaching staff of 30 bring a diversity of backgrounds and interests including psychology speech special education athletics music theater and art.
