Welcome to our Preschool in New Bern, NC. My name is Barbara Lewis and I am currently the Director at Childcare Network #76. I started my career here at Childcare Network in 1999. I have been in the early childhood development field for over 15 years and have assisted children 6 weeks to 12 years of age in their learning and development. I completed my CDA, my Associates in Business and my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Administration.
I am excited to be given the pleasure to work here at Childcare Network. My philosophy is that it takes an effective team to have a successful high-quality center. I am honored to be part of a team that offers a safe, educational, and loving environment to our growing children. I believe in an environment where families feel welcome and secure to leave their child knowing they will receive support that meet their child-s needs. Childcare Network provides the educational foundation for each child to be successful throughout life with a quality state approved High-Reach curriculum and a strong focus on literacy and language development for every age group. We strive to build a safe, warm and loving environment for the children, parents, and teachers making us one of the best child care centers in New Bern.
