~ Infant and Toddler

Discover and develop all bodily powers with room to grow and soft, safe places to roll over and pull up, to creep and crawl, and to step out into the world.
Deeply connect with others in a caring community that helps your baby form relationships that foster a sense of security and trust. Learn to communicate fully in a place filled with wonderful conversations, poetry, finger plays, singing, reading, and lots of smiles and hugs.

~ Twos

Twos are exploding in their power to communicate, to move purposely, to assert their independence and individuality, and to control their important bodily functions.

~ Preschool

The preschool program offers a rich variety of projects and activities that build upon established foundations for learning while focusing on advancing language ability, mathematical reasoning, and scientific thought. Children develop independently and in small groups. Learning centers offer guided experiences that encompass all the skills and understanding necessary for optimum development and academic success.

~ School Age

The Kiddie Learning Center’s program for school-age children recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of the school age child. Eager to form social connections and discover how the adult world works, 6- to 12-year-olds thrive on challenges, friendships, clubs, and responsibility.

The teachers:

Our teaching staff plans a daily schedule and learning activities with four things in mind: (1) developmental stages, need and abilities of all young children, (2) needs of the age group they serve and their abilities (3) needs of the specific, individual children in their care, and (4) the personal experiences and history each child brings to the classroom learning experience.

We will provide activities to foster emotional, social, intellectual and physical growth. We stress high self esteem, clear and positive communication, problem solving, decision making, creativity, independence and the ability to work with others.

The Tennessee Star Quality Program:

The Star-Quality Child Care Program is a voluntary program that recognizes child care agencies who exceed minimum licensing standards. These agencies can receive a rating of one, two or three stars. An agency must be open for one year before it is eligible to receive stars.

The report card system requires that every licensed child care agency undergo an annual evaluation. The Star Quality Program is a voluntary program that recognizes agencies that exceed minimum licensing standards.
