Central Baptist Church Nursery & Summer Camp

Sunday School / Spiritual Formation
Central Baptist Church provides a safe and sacred environment focused on helping the child encounter God. Classes are offered for ages 3 through 6th grade.

Nursery
Trained childcare workers are available to care for children for all church events. Children from newborn through age three are welcome in the nursery during all events, including Sunday School and worship service.

Worship
Worship is a central, unifying experience for the congregation, and as such welcomes children and families to participate in a variety of ways in services.

Even the youngest child is welcome in worship services, always. Should you feel more comfortable keeping your infant or young child with you during services, you may wish to take advantage of our “crying room,” located at the back of the piano side of the Sanctuary. Equipped with sound from the service, you may hear and observe the service while children cry, eat or play.

Children’s Church
Children’s Church is provided for children age 3 through kindergarten. Children will leave the service prior to the sermon and return at the close of the service.

Wednesday Night Fellowship
Wednesday night begins with the church family gathering for a fellowship meal of all church members eating together. Children meet from 6:30 -7:15 utilizing movement, exercise, prayer, worship enrichment and seasonal activities based on the church calendar.

Missions and Service
Families are encouraged to serve learning faith in action through a variety of service and mission projects in the greater Lexington area sponsored by Central Baptist Church.

Summer Camp
The camp experience takes place at PassportKids! Camp for children ages 3rd -6th grade. The camp strives to build foundational scriptural principles and cultivate service while fostering community and friendship with other children within the greater church community.
