The aim of The Heights Christian Preschool and Infant Center is to develop the total personality of each child by providing an educational experience of lasting value. Our school is staffed with teachers eager to love your child, to teach them to love God and to help him or her grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Our school is open during the convenient hours of 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, all year round. We are closed legal holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years.
Available for children entering Kindergarten in the fall is an exciting Summer Program, Sonrise Christian Day Camp, located at La Mirada Heights Christian School campus.

We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and the Source of all truth. Because of sin, man tends to omit God and thus fails to relate himself and his knowledge to God, the Source of all wisdom. Regeneration by faith in Jesus Christ enables man to come to the knowledge of Truth.
The home, church, and school should complement each other, promoting the student’s spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. The experience and training in each of these settings should be preparation for a life of fellowship with God and service to man.
God has given differing abilities to each student, and it is the Christian teacher’s responsibility to challenge each child according to his ability and to seek to teach him at his academic level.
