We are committed to offering each child the comprehensive
benefits of a true Montessori learning experience. We are
dedicated to demonstrating respect for the spirit and essence
of the child. We are devoted to presenting an atmosphere
that is socially and academically stimulating. All programs
follow accepted Montessori guidelines that provide freedom
for the development of self-esteem, confidence
and competence.

At CHMS, a community is formed amongst administrators,
teachers, parents and children. A partnership with coordinated
efforts is attained through open and frequent communications,
parental visits to the school and classroom, and many
social events that are educational, enjoyable, and inspirational.

A Montessori Education at Childrens House Montessori School
Dr. Maria Montessori created a unique method in accordance with her
philosophy that education should be a preparation for life. It is aligned
with the childs intuitive aim of self-formation. Daily experiences in a
multi-aged classroom allow each child to discover his own nature,
personality, and skills through his individual style and pace. A carefully
prepared environment and exclusively designed curriculum provide
consistent opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, spiritually,
physically, and cognitively.

Montessori teachers create and maintain a dynamic and nurturing
environment that encourages cooperation, reasoning, collaboration,
and understanding. Through the use of unique Montessori materials that
are multi-sensory and self-correcting, each child is presented with
opportunities of conceptual discovery through his own senses.
These experiences help guide the child into harmony with the world
and he/she becomes a well-rounded and self-expressed individual.

Teachers are keen observers of individual interests and distinctive
learning styles and are experienced in recognizing readiness for new
and challenging work. Individual lessons as well as group experiences
are provided based on these observations rather than from
a pre-set curriculum.
