Glen Mar Early Learning Center

The Early Learning Center is a non-profit outreach of Glen Mar United Methodist Church. The policies of the school are set by a board under the Church Council. We are able to provide a quality program only because of the many services and facilities offered as part of the church program.

We admit students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin. We acknowledge children as God’s special gift and treat them accordingly.

Concern for each child as an individual is basic to our philosophy. We provide infants to 5 year olds a wide range of experiences to help them grow, gain confidence in their own abilities, adjust to group situations, develop good peer relations and prepare for structured learning when they reach kindergarten. Our curriculum is structured to provide the opportunity to meet the individual needs of the children we teach.

We strive to understand the basic emotional needs of each child and to provide a loving atmosphere and enriching environment where children can play, socialize and learn with other children as they grow.
