Darien Public Schools Preschool Program

Welcome to the 2012-13 school year, and to all that it has in store for our students, staff, and families! The beginning of school is always very exciting and hopeful! There is something that makes me smile to see that yellow school bus back on the road filled with children that have great hope and faith in their school days ahead.
Hindley School exists for the children. Our teachers are dedicated leaders and educators who place a high priority on empowering all children to become active learners. They hold high expectations of themselves, as well as their students, while maintaining a strong positive belief that everybody can be successful!
We will begin our school year with approximately 570 students including the Early Learning Program to Grade 5. Learner-centered classroom environments will prevail as our knowledge of students become the main focus of all teaching, and as our instruction centers on inspiring student thinking and learning in a collaborative environment.
