In 2010 Graham Memorial Preschool enters its fortieth year of preparing Coronado children for scholastic and social success. Today our first generation of preschoolers is returning . . . this time as parents to enroll their own children. Moms and dads often tell us that the Christian values they learned as children in our preschool left impressions that continue to guide them in parenthood.
The Heart of Our Distinction
Graham Memorial Preschool employs a staff of highly dedicated and experienced teachers whose early childhood education qualifications exceed state licensing standards significantly. But more importantly all of our teachers adhere to fundamental Christian morals and spiritual values. We believe that with Christian teachers as primary role models religious values are caught as well as taught. As much from our actions as from classroom lessons we help children to learn to share and live cooperatively with others. And while we are a Christian church-related school enrollment is open to children of all faiths.

Our Core Values . . . the Heart of Our Distinction
Each day we ask open-ended questions of children to challenge them to think. When children answer we listen. Here children learn that their thoughts are important and that all answers are not necessarily right or wrong. We help children to develop confidence to speak before a circle of friends by reinforcing that each contribution is important and worthy of respect.
Creativity . Self-Esteem . Socialization
We realize how critical preschool years are to developing skills that eNHAnce scholastic readiness. In age-appropriate classroom settings Graham Memorial Preschool provides enrichment activities designed to promote creativity self-esteem and socialization. And we work hand-in-hand with preschool families to respect and support the values that they hold to be important.
We group children according to developmental age and level because the needs and abilities of two-year-olds differ from those of three- and four-year-olds.
We treat children respectfully and encourage them to mirror the same respect for other people and property. We help children to understand that displaying respectful behavior is the best insurance for receiving respect in return.
