The goal at Silverspot is to provide a safe, secure environment in which children learn through play to develop their social and language skills. Children are provided with many outlets for learning – books, music, art, cooking, gardening, and exploration of the natural world. Promoting our children to be engaged, independent learners during and after they leave pre-school is of paramount importance to us. We plan to develop close relationships with local kindergarten teachers to promote kindergarten readiness. Using our community as our inspiration, we will introduce the children to the multi-cultural world in which they live, celebrating the art, food, stories and holidays of many different cultures.
