Fort Gordon Pre-K

GA lottery Funded Pre-K Program with certified teachers at no cost from 0800-1500. Before and After care available at a fee based on family income. Initial enrollment is based on lottery drawing in the spring. Thereafter, parents can enroll or be placed on waitlist at building 45400 46th St.

Eligibility:
4 years by 1 Sep of current school year
GA resident-Fort Gordon affiliated service members, civilians, and retirees. Please note that active duty will have priority.

Special Needs:

* Contact your childs special education teacher, and request assistance in obtaining essential documents (e.g.: IEPs etc.)
* Schedule an Annual Review and Dismissal meeting to discuss the progress your child has made.
* Document any suggestions your childs current teacher may have to help assist his/her new classroom teacher. (A classroom teacher can often times identify which modifications work best for a student in a particular situation).
* Request a copy of your childs complete academic record. Please be sure to hand carry these items to the next school. Do not pack these documents with your household goods.
* Be sure to refill all medical prescriptions that your child will need for the next few months.
