The staff of New Vision School of Math, Science and Technology is committed to providing a safe, stimulating environment in which all children can reach their full potential and become caring, responsible problem solvers in a 21st century world.

New Vision is a magnet school serving students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Although our students attend school 180 days, just like other public schools, students at New Vision attend school for nine weeks, then have a three week break. Our summer break lasts three to four weeks and holidays are the same as traditional schedules. New Vision follows the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, but plans instructional programming to focus on integrating technology, science and mathematics throughout core subject areas as well as music, art, media and P.E.
Teachers at New Vision School of Math, Science and Technology are committed to teaching and learning that requires and facilitates student inquiry, real-life experiences, and the celebration of varied learning styles. This commitment requires additional planning and instructional time as well as resources, but our outstanding student attendance and state scores are proof that the extra effort is worth it.
New Vision does not have an attendance zone, which means we have no district limitations. county transportation (buses) transport students who live in the Western Rockingham zone.
