Ms Carolyn's Child Care

We have educated thousands of children since first opening in 1964 as Yucca Court Day Care Center. Both Yucca Court and Ms. Carolyn’s were founded by Mrs. Freda Sanders, the mother of five children, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of three. Mrs. Sanders later turned the management of Ms. Carolyn’s over to her youngest daughter, Carolyn Usategui who has three children and three grandchildren of her own. Carolyn has worked in the child care industry since 1983.

Ms. Carolyn’s accepts children from infant to 12 years of age, and is accredited as a 4-star center by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Our child to teacher ratio is in accordance with the NCDHHS AA standards.

Ms. Carolyn’s has video monitored classrooms and certified teachers who are CPR and first aid qualified. We also offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks as well as transportation to and from several area schools.

A private preschool is available for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten aged children.
