Thank you for your interest in our school. We offer a curriculum-based program for children 3 – 6 years of age, preschool through kindergarten. Montessori education encompasses a philosophy that recognizes and respects a child’s need to develop naturally and fully at his/her own pace. The child’s natural tendencies for freedom of choice, independence, and discovery are nurtured to help create a competent, confident individual with a love for learning. The adult is needed to prepare the environment in an effort to expose the child to a wide variety of possibilities. It is then up to the child through his/her own abilities and interest to explore what has been prepared and presented. Our curriculum includes the discovery and appreciation of people, cultures, and customs around the world. Through geography, science, nature, art, & music we introduce your child to the world as a place to be respected, cared for, and lived in harmoniously.
