We Believe:

1. In the sovereignty of God, salvation through His son, Jesus Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit. 2. That while MTCS is supported by and works closely with the church, it should function independently of the church. 3. That MTCS exists to train its students for life on this earth and for everlasting life through Jesus. 4. That the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that the school curriculum should include the study of the Bible as well as the study of the arts and sciences, all taught from a Christian perspective. 5. That each student is a valued individual made in Gods image with unique spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. 6. That students should be prepared to be responsible and productive citizens in society and the church. 7. That the board of directors, school personnel, parents, and students should work together to establish and foster a positive environment for learning. 8. That teachers should vary instructional methods and assessment to meet individual needs. 9. That positive relationships and mutual respect should be encouraged within the entire school community.

10. That students should be provided appropriate opportunities for success through academic and co-curricular activities.

11. That our students should graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in post-secondary education.
