A true understanding of life can only be based on Gods revealed Word the Bible. All truth is God’s truth; therefore the entire process of education must be interpreted by and integrated with God’s Word. Since man sinned and broke his fellowship with God our educational process recognizes that man’s fellowship with God can only be restored by spiritual rebirth through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe all education should lead to a personal relationship with God and result in Christ-like character and conduct. To develop this relationship the student must learn to understand and appropriate the Word of God in their life.
Merced Christian School functions as an arm of the Church and as an extension of the family to support parents in educating their children. We view every student as created in the “image of God” with individual personality traits and abilities. Therefore instruction is designed acknowledging these differences to nurture the students growth spiritually mentally socially and physically. Our teachers the keys to making this philosophy live before the student are born again believers filled with the Holy Spirit and called to the ministry of education.
