Live & Learn Academy is a privately-owned and accredited (by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools – SACS) educational child care facility in Gwinnett county. We provide daily care and education to children from age six weeks through kindergarten, and after-school activities for children up to 12 years of age.

Based on the work of Jean Piaget, Howard Gardner and Erik Erikson, the Pinnacle Curriculum implemented at Live & Learn Academy guides students with monthly themes and provides a creative framework for learning. The curriculum employs a combination of instructor-led and child-initiated activities, designed to cultivate your childs individual spirit while readying them for more structured school settings. Our private preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten programs feature McMillan McGraw Hill Math and Pathway to Reading programs ensuring preparedness for Elementary School Preschool. Capitalizing on childrens rapid language acquisition, weve also developed a comprehensive Spanish program, which begins in our infant room and builds through each age and stage.

And while we are proud of how well Live & Learn Academy prepares children for future schooling, we know life and success arent all about the academics. Our teachers provide a warm, caring atmosphere that encourages bonding and friendships. We believe that through play, we can teach children about character how to be patient, show compassion and be a good friend. Our low teacher-to-student ratios ensure your child receives the one-on-one attention they need to learn, build confidence and thrive.

Live & Learn Academys facility includes seven classrooms and four age-specific fenced-in playground areas, with additional green space for water play and group games. We feature childrens artwork and photos throughout the school, creating a feel-good atmosphere in which our students take pride. Live & Learn Academy is conveniently located near I-85 and Hwy 316 and shares a driveway with Kanoheda Elementary School Preschool.
