INFANT/TODDLER – PRESCHOOL – SCHOOL AGE –
Howell Pubic Schools Early Childhood Education Department offers a wide range
of services to meet the diverse needs of today’s families. From child care and preschool
to enrichment activities and parent education you can take comfort in Howell Schools
tradition of excellence.

Programs for School-Age Children:
Kid’s Kare – Provides child care services before and after the school day in each elementary building. Care is also available during Professional Development days and during some school breaks.
KinderFriends – Provides full day or half day child care services for children enrolled in Begindergarten or Kindergarten throughout the district.
Summer Kid’s Kare – Offers child care services during the summer break for children that have completed Kindergarten/Begindergarten through children that have completed sixth grade.
Programs for Children Birth through Five Years:
Little Howeller’s Child Care and Preschool Centers – Provides child care and full day preschool services for children two weeks through five years of age. These classrooms operate on a year-round basis however summer attendance is not required. Classes are available at the Howell High School Freshman Campus and beginning Fall 2011 at Parker Middle School.
Half Day Preschool – Preschool services for children that are three or four years of age by December 1 2011. Classes meet in several of the district’s elementary buildings and follow the Howell Public Schools’ calendar.
