Learning Tree is a parent-run, co-operative preschool. It provides an exceptionally safe and secure atmosphere for a child to experience school for the first time.
Children at Learning Tree are encouraged to learn by doing. The curriculum is planned by the creative and dedicated professionals on staff. Emphasis is placed on the actual process rather than the finished product. Children experience the fun of learning by participating in activities designed to stimulate growth in a wide range of areas, including social and cognitive development and gross and fine motor skills.
Parents make up the Board of Directors and serve on committees that facilitate the activities of the school. Learning Tree has a tradition of providing educational and entertaining events for its families, such as magic shows, puppet shows, seasonal and holiday programs, field trips and informational programs for parents.
