Kids ‘R’ Kids #44 was opened in July, 1998 by its owners David and Kelly Seckinger. Kids ‘R’ Kids is dedicated to the development of each child. That is why we offer the highest quality childcare in the best possible learning environment. Our goal is to provide the foundation for children to achieve the skills they need before continuing their education. Being parents ourselves we understand how important the atmosphere for children is when with caregivers.
Our facility has unique qualities not commonly found in other day care or learning facilities:
- Classrooms have glass walls for an open environment.
- All teachers are certified with a minimum of 10 hours of early child development.
- All teachers are required to be CPR and First Aid certified.
- Each classroom has its own playground separated from children of other ages.
- Two years old and above have music classes (included in tuition).
- Three years old and above have computer class (included in tuition).
- Three year old and above have Spanish lab (included in tuition).
- Three year old and above are offered Tap-Ballet Classes (not included in tuition).
- Transportation to and from area public and private schools.
- Separate Cafe for all children 18 months and above
- Assistant Director specifically for curriculum development
- State Lottery Funded and Private Pre-K program

- Boo-Boo Room – Area designated for sick children until parents arrive.

Our curriculum, “Building Steps To The Future,” focuses on the concept that children learn best through play. It is important for children to have opportunities to construct their own knowledge though exploration, interaction with materials, and imitation of role models. at Kids ‘R’ Kids, age-appropriate classrooms are arranged into learning centers to enhance a child’s play in art, blocks, books, dramatic play, math/manipulative, and science. A learning center is an area in a classroom where one or more children can participate in experiences designed for enrichment and review of current learning, as well as reinforcement of skills being taught. Within these learning centers children select many of their own experiences from a variety the teacher prepares.
