Research has shown that children take in more information between the ages of one and six years than they do the remainder of their lives. Kids `R` Kids #23 in Bogart wants to be part of that very important time in your child`s life.
Kids `R` Kids has consistently provided a very high level of care and education to all of its students since opening in the Athens / Oconee area in 2000. We invite you to visit us to see the difference in the care we provide for our children. Our low child-to-staff ratio allows us the ability to give the extra attention to detail to every aspect of your child`s daily care and learning.
Learning should be a happy and rewarding experience and we created our learning process with the child`s physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs in mind. We have instituted a unique approach of delineating our classrooms by organizing the classrooms by developmental milestone groupings in addition to chronological age groups. By diminishing gaps in behavioral development within the class, peer groups are created that share similar cognitive aptitudes. This approach allows the children to enjoy a higher level of accomplishment in the classroom. The lessons in each classroom can then be customized to more specifically meet students` abilities. We have arranged our classrooms to give each child the opportunity to explore language, art, science, math, reading and writing. Our environment provides the tools to develop the child`s social and physical skills, as well as nurture their emotional growth.
Innovative year-round age appropriate programs include weekly Spanish instruction and live music instrumentation instruction for all students from infant through pre-k. Sign language is integrated into our daily infant and toddler programs to enhance communication.
Our staff is professionally trained in classroom management, positive discipline and parent/teacher communication as well as CPR and first aid. We employ a variety of learning methods (e.g. visual schedules) to help guide children through their day. Resources from Child Care Resource and Referral have been used to assist children in furthering their opportunities in the classroom. Additionally, a great deal of attention is paid to ensure that each classroom environment meets the needs of the children collectively and individually. We are constantly creating new ways to better our environment for our children. We have received Georgia`s Center of Distinction accreditation, the highest quality designation awarded to Georgia preschools and are moving forward to receive our NAEYC accreditation.
We are the only preschool in the area that offers internet viewing access to our parents so that you can watch your child grow and learn with us each day. This service is included in your tuition and we are proud to provide it to your family.

We are very proud to use Creative Curriculum in all of our classrooms here at Kids `R` Kids in Bogart. Creative Curriculum is a “hands-on” curriculum that teaches and helps develop our children through exploration and discovery. Developmentally-appropriate classrooms:
Kids R Kids Infant-Toddler Curriculum – Six weeks through 24 months – The youngest learners at Kids R Kids are well on their way to a lifetime of learning with our Infant-Toddler Program. Infants as young as six weeks old are involved with stimulating, hands-on play. Each activity is designed to assist your child in achieving those important developmental milestones while he has fun at the same time. Our Kids R Kids environment is a safe place filled with love, growth, and discovery.
Kids R Kids Preschool Curriculum – 2 through 5 year olds – The daily adventures continue into preschool, and with them come the steppingstones for a lifetime of learning. Our goal is to help equip your child for the challenges ahead. Supporting each child during this time in her life helps to instill a sense of confidence and accomplishment while she basks in her daily successes.
Kids R Kids School Age Program – 5 through 12 year olds – Our School Age Program is challenging and fun, a combination we are very proud to share. Your childs day is filled with age-appropriate activities geared to challenge the pre-adolescent mind while building confidence and security. Our child-directed activities allow individuals and small groups to work independently while the staff encourages and monitors their progress.
